Connections

We are all connected.  On an island – we are really all connected!  We know who is celebrating, who may be ill, who needs help, who can help.  We know where to show up and when to see all our friends.  We all share the love of the culture, the love of the sea.  We are all connected.

A free-form shape made of heavily threaded black cotton with inserts of brighter cottons with with silk, cotton and metallic thread-work.  The backing is repurposed sari silk material.
