Schaller. They chose to name this newly found rock after the Latin word “purpura”, referencing its purple color.
All stone cut by me. Backs are flat, not polished unless otherwise stated above. These are hand-processed stones and slight imperfections etc. are to be expected as this is not factory-perfect. I sell only stones that I would use. If a stone is particularly flawed (either naturally or by me in the making process) I will state so up front.
No treatment or finish is applied. Shine is the natural polish in the process of making this a cabochon.
